If you don’t already know, I’m THE clumsiest girl alive! So clumsy that I made a clumsy diaries blog post all about how clumsy I am. So when I decided to buy a pair of white jeans, I thought I was doomed from the beginning! Fingers and toes crossed, I haven’t actually destroyed them… YET. I still have plenty of time.
I originally wanted a pair that were sort of mom style, so they weren’t too tight on my legs or belly because ngl tight white jeans just didn’t sound flattering in the slightest.
Honestly, I tried these on and I was apprehensive at first. They are WHITE jeans. WHITE. AKA: an accident waiting to happen for the clumsiest girl in Suffolk. Yeah seriously. But I thought hey, I’m 21, I should really be old enough and adult enough to own a pair of white jeans and not drop everything and anything down them.
They had been in my wardrobe for a few weeks, and I hadn’t worn them apart from getting photos in them for Instagram, because I didn’t trust myself in them. But I’ve sucked it up and worn them properly and didn’t completely ruin them on the first wear! There’s hope my friends!
When it comes to jeans, I really love a pair that are quite stretchy in material so you can actually move around! There’s nothing worse than when you put on a pair of jeans and you feel like you can’t bloody move in them or feel like you’re going to break them with every stretch, it’s like a denim prison!
The perfect summer piece!
I find sometimes just a standard pair of denim can get really boring after a while, so having a different colour does make things a bit more exciting. I’m going to be wearing these to death this season, paired with a cute summery blouse and sandals – the PERFECT spring/summer OOTD.no products
Let me know if you want to see any more of these sort of blog posts surrounding jeans! I’d love to do different editions, maybe finding mom jeans, the perfect fit generally vs price? Drop a comment or DM me!
Also, if you’re having trouble finding pieces to wear this season, I’ve got a blog post all about how I’m getting my spring wardrobe ready!
